Mena Alexandra (born on 13 February 1979) is an actress and model from the United States. After beginning her career as a model she soon began acting as a guest on 90's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. The first time she appeared in film was her performance in 1997's drama Nowhere. Her transition into important roles thanks to her performance as a character in American Beauty for which she was nominated for an BAFTA Award and American Pie both of which earned more attention. She's appeared alongside American Pie's Co-Star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the role of lead on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2001). She had appearances in the 2002 independent drama Spun as well as the 2004 action film Trauma. Also, she appeared on HBO drama Six Feet Under in 2004 the show was awarded a nomination for a member of the Outstanding Cast in the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Suvari was also featured in the film version of Day of Dead, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and in the film version of The Garden of Eden. Suvari has appeared in many fashion blogs and magazines as well as Vogue. She's an official Lancome model and appears on the advertisements printed of Lancome Paris Adaptive. She has long been an advocate and supporter for the African Medical and Research Foundation. The organization is also active in women's empowerment issues and collaborates with various organizations to promote awareness of breast cancer and the End Violence Against Women Campaign. Most well-known is her part in television shows including Dark Angel Heroes the Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper or Rookie Blue. Her work has been featured in high-profile merchandise like Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada or the Olympics. Missy's movies include the films Stick It Backcountry Red, and Wide Awake. Being who she is the skilled actress was successful throughout all three films. Missy has a huge heart. When she is not working she likes taking part in charitable initiatives.
